Originally from Arizona, Portland has been home for over a decade. Life has gently nudged me in the direction of reproductive work by way of community organizing, instructing yoga, work in the immigration legal field, and a growing dedication to working for body autonomy, justice, and liberation. I am a member of the Cascades Abortion Support Collective and work locally to increase access to abortion. My additional paid work is as a caregiver and a gardener.
I am continually humbled by the complexity and personal growth that organizing and providing support within the reproductive justice framework calls upon. I am grateful and accountable to the indigenous people, people of color, and trans people who have always lead the struggle for reproductive justice. Work as a doula affirms my desire to be part of something greater than myself and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve in this way.
I live in SE Portland and work in all corners of the community. I received my doula training through Birthingway College of Midwifery in 2016 and have been an apprentice with Metta Lineage since 2018.
